OUR VISION:
Be a Disciple-Making Church
The overarching vision for Germantown Baptist Church is summarized as this:
Christ's desire is that the Church expand exponentially around the globe until every nation, tribe, and tongue has had the opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Revelation 7:9-10).
Germantown exists to serve Christ by increasing the number of equipped disciples who serve as faithful agents of His grace and ambassadors of His ever-expanding Kingdom on earth.
We do this practically through the two-fold ministry of evangelism and teaching. Evangelism and teaching are supported by and permeate every programmatic ministry of the church.
These programmatic ministry areas are worshipping, equipping, and mobilizing. Every programmatic offering of Germantown Baptist Church is aligned within one of these three areas and expresses the overarching ministries of evangelism and teaching.
