Van Wyck Presbyterian is a small church with a big heart.
The vision of Van Wyck Presbyterian Church is “Growing in Christ in Spirit, Service, and Number.”
The mission of the church is to provide the congregation and community with opportunities to experience God’s presence through worship, study, prayer, fellowship, mission, and ministries of compassion.
Van Wyck Presbyterian was founded in 1884 and is a faith community gifted with a welcoming hospitality and a creative spirit. Services begin every Sunday at 11:00am; a nursery is provided. Sunday School for children, youth, and adults begins at 10:00am (Our classes take a break in the summer).
The church is easily accessible from Walnut Creek, Waxhaw, Sun City Carolina Lakes, Lancaster, and Rock Hill.
VWPC is a member of Providence Presbytery, Synod of South Atlantic and the PCUSA.
